and can offer consultancy services to other providers including arranging validation and monitoring, project planning, assistance
with project implementation and trading of the resulting Carbon offsets. For companies and individuals, we offer a brokering
service for all types of Carbon Contract, as well as advice on energy efficiency, and the opportunity to offset personal carbon
emissions.

 Carbon Credits arose out of
earlier trading schemes to trade Sulphur emissions and other gasses resulting in acid rain. In order to reduce Sulphur at
the fastest rate for the least cost, a market mechanism was developed in which companies had a choice between cutting their
own emissions and paying someone else to do so where that person could cut emissions at lower cost. This mechanism was highly
successful at reducing acid rain causing emissions ahead of time, and so the idea of trading carbon was a logical tool to
use in order to comply with the Kyoto Treaty.
